OGV Consultation Services
Why Book An
OGV Consultation?
At the OGV, we know that providing high-quality pet care is our main purpose as veterinary professionals. Sometimes, however, this noble goal can be elusive amidst the difficulties of running a business. After years of experience building dynamite veterinary teams that consistently shattered metrics and re-ignited a passion for quality pet care, veterinary brothers, Dr. Kacey and Dr. Kody, are passionate about coming alongside your hospital to help you get back to the heart of veterinary service while reaching your full potential. OGV consultation services will help your hospital develop proven, personalized action plans to improve:

The Carr brothers understand that they may not be the smartest or best veterinarians out there. In such a diverse and dynamic field, there will always be more to learn than one person can ever master. However, they have observed, learned and acquired many skills that made it possible for them to succeed in ways rarely seen in veterinary medicine. At the age of 37, Dr. Kacey was able to retire as one of the highest-paid veterinarians in the country. However, retirement was only the beginning for Dr. Kacey as he left his veterinary career behind in order to pursue his veterinary passions. Rescuing animals, mentoring veterinary professionals, and developing a unique, off-grid treatment center are now his focus. Dr. Kody received the prestigious "Best Veterinarian" award in Reno, NV within one year of beginning his veterinary career and he continues to use his skills to better the lives of thousands of pets every year.

Experience Matters.
Results Matter.
Before acquiring Doctorates of Veterinary Medicine, the brothers gained priceless life experiences that taught them how to value, encourage, motivate, and empower others, even in stressful and difficult circumstances. Dr. Kacey spent two years with Teach for America, a non-profit organization that recruits driven, high-performing college graduates to help close the education gap in underprivileged areas. In teaching his students, he actually became a student himself…a student of human behavior. He became the first of sixty-eight Teach for America corps members to reach their projected student achievement goals by helping students realize their potential. Meanwhile, Dr. Kody had the privilege of learning at one of the top veterinary hospitals in the Chicago area, which provided him the opportunity to serve in the veterinary field overseas, growing his compassion and widening his perspective.
Those lessons continued through vet school where the brothers excelled. Dr. Kody rose to the top as a natural leader allowing him to become one of the highest performing veterinarians in the country immediately upon graduation. Meanwhile, Dr. Kacey earned two of the most prestigious awards available, the Merck Veterinary Leadership and Citizenship Award and the Clinical Student of the Year Award.

After graduation, Dr. Kacey had the privilege of practicing medicine, performing advanced surgeries, and leading teams at over 40 different animal hospitals, both corporate and private. His unique understanding of both human and animal behavior helped him develop strong, dedicated, and efficient veterinary teams that consistently out-performed metric goals to deliver superior animal care, reach higher client satisfaction, and generate record-breaking revenue. Dr. Kody has also served at both corporate and private practices, allowing him to gain a deep understanding of how to run a veterinary business, making it profitable for owners, patients, and clients.

Both Dr. Kacey and Dr. Kody were regularly partnered with underperforming hospitals where they helped revitalize the struggling teams. They were able to not only help resurrect "dead" hospitals, but in some cases, even lead them to perform in the top 1% of corporate-owned veterinary hospitals in the country. In addition to his regular duties as a veterinarian, Dr. Kacey honed his formal teaching and mentoring skills while serving as a mentor for externs and new doctors at a large corporate veterinary company. Dr. Kacey also served as a surgical instructor for a veterinary technical institute for three years and gained important experience training and inspiring veterinary technicians.

Dr. Kacey and Dr. Kody's vast experience and proven track record make them the perfect candidates to mentor and lead your veterinary hospital to reach its full potential.
